Daniel Sesil Appointed to 2021-2023 OBO Industry Advisory Group



Daniel A. Sesil, P.E., C.E., S.E., Partner at LERA Consulting Structural Engineers has been appointed to serve on the 2021-2023 Industry Advisory Group (IAG) continuing his role with the IAG. The IAG is an advisory committee to the US Department of State's Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) comprised of noted professionals drawn from architecture, real estate, urban design, landscape architecture, historic preservation, interior design, graphic design, construction, engineering, and facilities management.


 

About the IAG


The Industry Advisory Group (IAG) is an advisory committee to the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), governed under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). The IAG serves the U.S. government solely in an advisory capacity concerning industry and academia’s latest concepts, methods, best practices, innovations and ideas related to OBO’s mission to provide safe, secure, functional, and resilient facilities that represent the U.S. government to the host nation.


Comprised of up to 35 noted professionals drawn from architecture, real estate, urban design, landscape architecture, historic preservation, interior design, graphic design, construction, engineering, and facilities management, members serve a two-year term.
