Structural Engineering Design Senior Associate

Job Duties:


Structural design of building structures and components of reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, and wood for gravity and lateral loads.  Structural analysis and engineering design calculations in accordance with American and Indian Design Codes. Condition assessments of existing buildings and facilities required for retrofitting/rehabilitation schemes. Performance-based seismic design and linear/non-linear structural analysis using ETABS, SAP2000, MIDAS-Gen, ADAPT-PT, CSI Column, STAAD Pro, RISA 3D, Floor Vibe. Building seismic performance control using base isolation and passive damping systems. Project coordination and planning using Building Information Modeling (BIM). Structural drawings production using Revit Structures and AutoCAD; material specifications preparation. Construction site inspections and construction administration duties. Monitor project budgets; prepare work estimates, and evaluate manpower for prospective projects.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering + 2 years of related experience to include: the use of U.S. and Indian design codes; use of structural analysis software including ETABS, SAP2000, CSI Column, MIDAS-Gen, STAAD Pro, RISA 3D, ADAPT-PT, AutoCAD, Revit Structures and Rhino; design of building post-tensioned structural systems; and active Professional Engineer License in the U.S.
