Holiday Wishes from LERA

LERA was honored for our 15th year of participation in Canstruction NY, a charitable design competition where architecture and engineering firms create structures out of food cans, which are displayed in a public exhibit. A ll cans are donated to City Harvest, who provide meals for those in need.

This year, we built an 8-ft-tall howling wolf from over 3,000 tuna and sardine cans, which helped feed over 800 New Yorkers. For our 15 entries since 2002, LERA has won 10 awards and donated over 55,000 canned goods and food items. You can view all of our past entries on our Canstruction page.
