Edible Schoolyard Wins Municipal Arts Society Award

The Edible Schoolyard at PS 216 has been awarded a Best Green Design Initiative MASterworks Award from the Municipal Arts Society. The Edible Schoolyard is a hands-on learning center created on the site of a former school parking lot that was turned into a free standing, single story building containing a working greenhouse, organic farm, and culinary classroom.
