The Beaux Arts pavilion in Union Square Park was fully restored and opened as a restaurant this summer. The pavilion's original Ionic limestone columns were significantly damaged. LERA engineered a solution that allowed the removal and replacement of only the top portion of the columns. The new design solution blends seamlessly with the original structure. Combining modern and historic construction methods and materials, gave new life to the historic building. The project includes new support spaces and public facilities as well as a new plaza and playground. The Pavilion is a seasonal restaurant, so grab a table while you can.

The restoration of Union Square Pavilion is a fantastic addition to the community, bringing both history and modern functionality together. For businesses or events in spaces like this, small details like reserved signs for tables can make a big difference. Having elegant, well-designed signs not only serves a practical purpose but also enhances the overall experience for visitors, ensuring they feel welcomed and catered to. In a beautifully restored venue like this, it's these thoughtful touches that elevate the atmosphere, combining tradition with modern hospitality standards. It's great to see spaces being brought back to life with both form and function in mind.
