LERA Staff Volunteer for COVID-19 Efforts

LERA Consulting Structural Engineers’ Jason Stone and Matthew Melrose both associate partners at the firm, volunteered to assist with the setup of the field hospital sponsored by a partnership between Mount Sinai, Samaritan’s Purse, a humanitarian aid organization, and FEMA at the East Meadow in Central Park. The facility is now treating COVID-19 patients in New York City. Jason described it as “an amazing experience” and was grateful to be able to help those in need and to give back to the city.
