SUNY Stony Brook University, Indoor Practice Facility
LERA is the structural engineer for the foundations of a new 60,000-sf (5,600-sm) multi-sport practice facility that will be constructed from a prefabricated, framed fabric structure, as well as a connected 1-story, 4,000-sf (370-sm) support building, which will provide office, storage and meeting spaces. The practice facility, sited about 150 yards north of Kenneth LaValle Stadium on a current soccer practice field, will be temperature controlled and will contain an artificial turf playing field.
