Metro Green Apartments  

LERA was the structural engineer for a 53,000-sf (4,920-sm) wood-framed residential complex comprising both townhouses and mid-rise apartments. Part of a mixed-use, transit-oriented development centrally located in Stamford, the project achieved LEED Gold certification. 


Public amenities of the project include a new public plaza and streetscape with custom street light fixtures, new sidewalks and curbside plantings. Other environmentally responsible features of Metro Green Apartments include rainwater harvesting system, high-performance building envelope, energy-efficient mechanical systems and green building materials, such as recycled and low-VOC components.
