Lingang Science and Technology City

Lingang New District of Shanghai

The catalyst of a new development set to be the “Silicon Valley” of China, the Lingang Science and Technology City consists of a continuous multi-story podium that snakes between three office towers, with interconnecting stairs, large and small atria and regular column grids that allow for maximum flexibility and collaboration. The angular, minimalist exterior building envelope is composed of large-scale glass facets, designed to optimize the views from inside and reflect variable light conditions. Outsized cantilevers at different points along the podium act as de facto entrances to the new district.
