LaGuardia International Airport

Existing Terminal B Demolition

LERA is providing structural engineering services for the demolition of existing plane docking piers at LaGuardia International Airport’s existing Terminal B, which will make way for a new state-of-the-art Central Terminal Building facility, part of a $4 billion major modernization and redevelopment program. This task is one of many critical path make-ready tasks that are needed in order to facilitate the main project.

Delta Terminal C East, C West & D Demolition

This project is part of the phasing plan for the construction of the new Delta Airlines Terminal at LaGuardia Int’l Airport. LERA’s services includes visiting the terminal to confirm the existing structure and prepare structural demolition scope of work drawings for use in bidding the demolition contract, and, where necessary, designing reinforcement for the remaining structure. LERA is also providing the structural design for new closure walls required to seal the remaining parts of the existing terminal.

CTB Project Temporary Connector Bridge

This project is part of the phasing plan for the Central Terminal Building Replacement Project. LERA is currently providing structural engineering services for the design of a temporary bridge connecting the existing Central Terminal Building to the New Concourse A.
