Javits Lecture Center Rehabilitation

LERA was the structural engineer for a 57,650-sf rehabilitation to the Javits Lecture Center at Stony Brook University, constructed in 1969. Designed to achieve LEED Silver certification, the project included elevator replacement; refurbishment of lecture rooms, restrooms, public spaces and support spaces; audio/visual equipment upgrades; roof and skylight replacement; and MEP replacement/upgrades.

 

Construction was put on hold after Design Development was completed.
