Hospital Emergency Department

The Emergency Department project consists of a 3,200-sf addition to the existing building and renovation of 19,000-sf of existing space.

The project included a new entrance arrival center along with the complete renovation of the existing Hospital Emergency Department which expanded the capacity for incoming patients and modernizing its treatment facilities.

The expansion structure also houses mechanical and electrical equipment for use by the Hospital. LERA also designed fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) repairs for the existing concrete walls of the Emergency Department to increase their resistance to flood loading.
