Corning Museum of Glass 

The design for this 68,000-sf (7,000-sm) museum features a glass panel perimeter facade, housing a mixed concrete/steel structural frame.  

 

The institution holds a 45,000 object collection of art and historical glass tracing 3,500 years of glassmaking history.  

 

Additionally, a fully equipped glass studio is contained on site.
