Chicago Bears Practice Facility

LERA was the structural engineer for this field house containing a regulation size football field, a running track, a racquetball court, locker rooms and a viewing platform for coaches and spectators. The field house has a roof structure comprising 200-ft (61-m) span wooden arches infilled partly with wooden decking and partly with fabric. This project was completed on a fast-tracked schedule.
