Professional Experience

With the firm since 1983, Mr. Sesil has worked on several of LERA's landmark projects including The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland; Meyerson Symphony Hall in Dallas; the Miho Museum Bridge and the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Center.

Mr. Sesil has experience in design of the full-spectrum of building types, including mixed-use high-rise buildings, museums, airports, and educational facilities. In a collaboration with Aronsohn/Corsmit, he worked on the design for the proposed Parkhaven Tower in Rotterdam. Part of the urban mixed use project and master plan for the Parkhaven District, the 350-meter tower has been developed through concept design. Other high-rises on which Mr. Sesil has worked as Partner-in-Charge include the proposed 494-m Sao Paulo Tower of Peace in Brazil.

Mr. Sesil also has worked on some of the firm's most challenging renovation projects including the award-winning Prada-Soho with Rem Koolhaas and the Gagosian Galleries, both located in Manhattan. Structural hardening of existing structures to enhance security and improve blast resistance is also one of Mr. Sesil's specialties. He has worked on several security upgrades for the Federal Reserve Bank system throughout the United States.
