International Trade Center (ITC)

The Moll de Barcelona, Spain

This $176-million project, currently under construction, includes the Trade Center, a Public Promenade and a Ferry Terminal. The Trade Center consists of three curved components, each containing 183,000-sf (17,000-sm) of office space. The pier level is for vehicular circulation, ferry access, passenger terminal entries, office lobbies and retail facilities; the gangway level is surrounded by the passenger halls, giving access to the ships and their support functions and amenity spaces. A raised covered walkway edging the pier on both sides connects the ferries and the ferry terminals at the beginning of the 1,640-ft (500-m) long pier with those at the base of the Trade Center.
