P.T. Grand Paradise is owner of this project, which includes two office towers and below-grade parking levels consisting of approximately 1.1 million sf (103,000 sm). Tower A is 62 stories and Tower B is 45 stories. Foundation conditions are very poor requiring deep auger-cast pile-supported mat foundations for the two towers. A slurry wall forms the perimeter of the complex's common basement. Outside of the footprint of the towers and within the slurry wall perimeter, the lowest basement slab is a conventional slab on ground. The use of this slab in lieu of the mat foundation slab recommended by the geotechnical engineer saved the owner in excess of U.S.$5 million. Project is currently on hold.
