The Nakheel Tall Tower, a complex, mixed-use project that will stand at a height of more than 1,000 meters upon completion, is currently in construction. Containing a program of hotel, residential, office, and recreational use, the tower will function as a kind of vertical city. The tower will be a dramatic addition to the Dubai skyline, and serve as a gateway anchoring the surrounding Harbour Development. A podium will house an array of cultural, retail, and public uses that will welcome visitors and residents alike.
